The interior of the Knaus Sky Ti 700 MEG Platinum Selection boasts a floorplan that’s proved very popular in recent years for the UK market. From the back, there are twin permanent single beds set over a large garage area, central kitchen and washroom, then, at the front, a typically continental lounge with double travel seat ( with a pull-up bracket for the TV concealed behind) that adapts to an L-shape when on site, plus a single inward-facing chair, and swivelled cab seats grouping around a fixed pedestal leg table.
The large sunroof over the cab, plus rooflight over lounge – both opening – should alleviate any feeling of claustrophobia as well as optimising ventilation.
Beyond the lounge, the kitchen is an L-shaped and houses a space-efficient hob – with three gas burners in a line – a master of space creation, allowing worktop space in front of it. Note, also, the deep sink, and below this the oven / grill. On the opposite side of the galley is a large 3-way fridge/freezer.
For ablutions, shower and toilet facilities are split, with a shower on the nearside and toilet room offside, the latter including a loo and a fixed corner basin.
At night, it’s a couple of easy steps up to reach the twin beds, mounted over the large garage.
